Got this little beaut yesterday and I must say, I’m thoroughly impressed…slim, feels nice in the hand, easy to text on and stuffed with features including a PDF, PowerPoint & word reader…its also has GPS and WI-FI!!!
On the downside, it can be quite slow and the screen almost flickers at times like when reading a message when its first received. This was a similar problem with the N73, a phone I trailed for a couple of days, then sent back.
I think I’m most impressed with Wi-fi, which means I can connect to unsecured wireless networks anywhere and browse the net anywhere, free of charge! The E65 also has a nifty little web browser that allows you preview the whole page when moving a cursor around the screen. It also allows you to choose which page to go back to when the ‘back’ button is pressed. Its hard to explain with words but after a quick play, it all becomes clear!
It has been said that 2007 will be the year of the mobile Internet revolution and if these capabilities start rolling out on all mobiles in the near future, I can foresee Internet on the move being huge!
Time to start attaching the mobile stylesheets…
